  • our website and any landing pages we operate;
  • the mobile applications and games we publish, together with any related support services;

By accessing or using any of the above, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree with it, please discontinue use of our services.

02Who We Are

Codecrafix is an independent technology studio founded by Vivek Barman and based in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, India. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

For any privacy-related question, request or complaint, you can reach us at mrvivekbarmansom@gmail.com. We aim to respond to all privacy enquiries within 30 days.

03Information We Collect

3.1 Information you give us

  • Contact details — your name, email address and any other details you include when you email us or submit an enquiry about a project.
  • Project information — requirements, specifications, references, assets and feedback you share while we scope or deliver work.
  • Support correspondence — the content of messages you send us about a product, bug or feature request.

3.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and technical data — device model, operating system version, application version, language, screen characteristics and general region.
  • Usage data — features accessed, session duration, interaction events, crash reports and diagnostic logs.
  • Network data — IP address and approximate location derived from it, used for security, fraud prevention and aggregate analytics.

3.3 Information we do not seek

We do not ask for and do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of data such as health information, biometric identifiers, precise continuous location, or government identification numbers. Please do not send us such information.

04How We Use Information

We use the information we collect only for legitimate business purposes, including to:

  • respond to your enquiries, prepare quotations and deliver the services you request;
  • operate, maintain and improve our website, applications and games;
  • diagnose technical problems, fix defects and improve performance and stability;
  • understand in aggregate how our products are used so we can prioritise development;
  • protect our services against abuse, fraud, security incidents and unlawful activity;
  • produce transparency and build content for our developer community channels; and
  • comply with applicable legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

05Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on the following:

  • Consent — where you have given us clear permission, for example by emailing us an enquiry or opting in to communication.
  • Contract — where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into, or to perform, an agreement with you.
  • Legitimate interests — where processing is necessary for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our products, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
  • Legal obligation — where we must process information to comply with a legal or regulatory duty.

For users in India, we process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it. Where you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we additionally process data in accordance with the GDPR (EU) 2016/679 and the UK GDPR.

06Cookies & Similar Technologies

Our website uses a minimal set of cookies and local storage keys. We do not deploy advertising cookies or sell behavioural data to data brokers.

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to load, for security and for remembering interface preferences such as reduced-motion or playback settings.
  • Preference — used to remember choices you make so the experience stays consistent on your next visit.
  • Aggregate analytics — where enabled, used only to understand overall traffic patterns in a form that does not identify you personally.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of the site function.

07Third-Party Services

Our products rely on a limited number of third-party providers. These providers process limited data on our behalf or independently, under their own privacy policies:

  • Application marketplaces — such as the Amazon Appstore, where our published titles are distributed, reviewed and downloaded.
  • Video and community platforms — such as YouTube, which hosts our official developer channel.
  • Hosting, content delivery and font services — used to serve this website reliably and render its typography.
  • Analytics and crash diagnostics — used in aggregate to monitor stability and performance.

When you follow a link from our website to a third-party platform, that platform’s own terms and privacy policy apply to what you do there. We encourage you to read them.

08Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — to vendors who help us host, operate, secure and analyse our services, under confidentiality obligations and only for the purposes we specify.
  • Legal requirements — where we are required to disclose information by law, regulation, court order or a lawful request from a competent public authority.
  • Protection of rights — where disclosure is necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, security threats or violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Business transfers — if our studio is involved in a merger, acquisition or transfer of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

09International Data Transfers

Codecrafix operates from India. Some of the third-party providers we rely on may store or process data on servers located in other countries. Where information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to receive an appropriate level of protection, including contractual safeguards with the providers we use.

10Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or for as long as we are required to keep it by law.

  • Enquiries and correspondence — retained while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can follow up meaningfully.
  • Project records — retained for the duration of the engagement and for any statutory record-keeping period that follows.
  • Technical and diagnostic logs — retained for a limited period sufficient to investigate and resolve issues.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

11Data Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted transport for data in transit, restricted access on a need-to-know basis, credential hygiene across development environments, and regular review of the dependencies we ship.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

12Children's Privacy

Our websites and community channels are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Some of our games may be suitable for younger players. Those titles are designed to function without requiring personal information, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from child players. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at mrvivekbarmansom@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

13Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
  • Erase information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing already carried out;
  • Data portability — receive certain information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
  • Nominate a representative to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, where the law provides for it; and
  • Complain to us, and to your local supervisory authority, about how we handle your information.

To exercise any of these rights, email mrvivekbarmansom@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

14Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products, our practices or the law. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide a more prominent notice.

We encourage you to review this page periodically so you always know how we handle your information.
